Blue Ivy Carter shuts down BET's 106 & Park

On Monday, Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran made a tasteless joke about Blue Ivy's hair at the VMAs during her first presenting gig with BET's 106 and Park.

Not only did fans blast both Karrueche and BET, now according to multiple reports, the music programme is going on hiatus. 106 and Park will off the air for the rest of the week and writers and producers associated with the joke have been fired.

After Karrueche Tran made that awful, unacceptable joke about poor little Blue Ivy on BET's "106 & Park," we learned that the joke was added in right before the live show began. People got mad, and that should have been the end, but no.

No, Karrueche is getting far too much hate right now. Here's a message from her Instagram:

Past two days have been extremely draining.. As I geared up for a big day for myself - hosting a live show.. I never expected things to turn out this way.. I apologize to any and everyone who felt offended in any way by the comments made by BET executed through me.. I would never disrespect anyone's child in any way and anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Beyoncé. My comments have been in complete shambles.. yes I am human too and yes I do make mistakes.. But all this negativity and death wishes are quite a lot.. Definitely a lesson learned from here forth.. Again, on behalf of MYSELF, my sincerest apologies #BeyHive

Now see, this is just sad now. Even if she had known about the Blue Ivy comments beforehand, and even if she wrote the "joke" herself, death threats are completely uncalled for. Like, she could have, god forbid, teased Blue Ivy to her adorable little face about her hair, and yes, that would be so very awful, but death threats? Nope, still unacceptable.

When are people going to learn that just because someone says something you disagree with, that's not a viable reason for them to die?

Like I said before, you can't mess with music's royal baby and not get burned. See the apology tweets from BET exec Stephen Hill after the cut...
